Valve is constantly looking for a way to keep players at a 50% win-rate.. its their goal. A normal everyday person has roughly a 50% win-rate. A good respectable player with some skill will win the games he should not. Thus raising his MMR. A toxic player in Shadowpool will struggle to maintain 50% then Drop dramatically as he intentionally throws even games that valve hands him as free wins. There are games as a thrower where you do everything in your power to lose... you still win. The players on your team are just that good in comparison to The other team. Yo jacked. I know how we prove this. Make another account get your sexy 60% win-rate. at an MMR lower than one of us. considering most of the players your taking about here are3.8K to 4.5k and let us put it in shadowpool and see if you can keep your 60% winrate after. I bet you any money on your "jacked" account within 15 games I could get you into shadowpool and if you were to return on that account your win-ate would probably drop to 50%-55%. My main which I put into SP has a 51% win-rate. my smurf has a 70% win-rate at 4.6K MMR. Idk but id say its indisputable that a player stuck at 4k on an account in and out of SP can make a smurf play 500 games and hit 5k without calibration. Just saying bro. The point your missing is if you take a 1k player put him on 1k account he has a 50% win-rate. You place a 1k Player on a 2K account he will likely have a 40-50% win-rate. Put him on a 3k account his win-rate will likely be 20-30%. You take a 4k player and place him in respectable games he is going to maintain a 50% win-rate. Now players skill fluctuates based on lack of sleep food exercise. Life basically. But in 1000 games a 4k player will have a 50% winrate at 4k. That is valves Idea. not mine. not yours not the OP but Valves. You take a player who played 1000 Games at 4k then decides to go full Toxic. He drops to 3k. Theoretically that player should then have a 50%-55% win-rate and get his 4k back. But it wont happen. I can hit 4.8K on a smurf but after coming back to my account that I fed intentionally and put into LPP hard core I was barely able to maintain 50% it was fucking difficult. 30-2 CK games lost because LC is feeding dual damage, Silencers feeding couriers. But it isn't 3-10 games in regular matchmaking. its 6 out of 10 games in Shadowpool. so by your logic I am now a 2.8k player that can mysteriously play a Smurf at 4.5K and maintain the MMR. Just like my fellow poste. So how do you explain an account that was purposely Fed and played very toxic maintains a 50% winrate at 3.5k but then that very same player smurfs 500 games maintains a 60% win-rate at 4.5k and after Throw 1k MMR worth of games struggles to maintain 50% at 2.8 for over 30 games. I guess were all just bad.

@Frustrated monkey my name is "Hidden pool destroyed my stats" and you even ask me to post from my hidden pooled account? LOL, you're so fucking braindead. The games are there, pretend you don't see them. I'm really starting to think you might be psychotic too. You pretend not to see everything, deny everything, offend for everything. In that game both teams were toxic, but it's far from being standard. And we won that game by the way. In this kind of games the team who tilts less wins. In most cases only one of the two teams is toxic, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed any difference in winrate. Games would have been just worse in terms of "atmosphere" in game. But this is not the case, here people who experienced such things are talking about having 20% winrates in the bracket they've always been in with more than decent winrate, or even lower brackets. "Conspiracy theorists", theory confirmed by a Valve developer lol. Nah nah, that's not the reason, edgy kid. I'd suck major dicks if I was a 1.3k in 4k games, but I'm a 4k in 4k games.

Valve developer comment > anything you say unless you know more Dota behind the scenes than the Valve developer does.

          This.

@ShiftingSkys great example, that's exactly the situation I'm talking about. How do you fucking explain how people who've always been in a certain MMR and on a certain skill level all of a sudden drop hard and aren't able to get their MMR back? Who have reached a certain MMR winning 56% of their games, not even struggling, yet not being able to even maintain a 50% winrate in that same bracket? Did we all get a stroke and lost our ability to control our body, hands, brain? No, it's not the player that changed, it's the enviroiment that changed. Which is to say the matchmaking pool and the quality of the games.
