That top 100 rank is decided by Division you are in. For example I am 16th in this list: https://www.dotabuff.com/heroes/ursa/players
If I stop play Ursa and play other hero till immortal. I will top 1.
Man, i know how it works lol. I was diamond 9-10 in last 5 years at this top-100
and now i went to platinum 8 for no reason...
BTW im at position 86 today lmao. I think that the problem with the division downgrade is not only mine. 4 days ago i was at 100th place and i didnt played this days

I went from diamond 9 to platinum 8 in a few games. I have the same VHS as before (4700 MMR, Divine), I did not play in a party with low mmr friends, nothing special. But my rating on Winter Wyvern has dropped a lot. Has anyone else noticed that ratings have started to drop? Maybe the dotabuff algorithms have finally decided to give the highest division only to players with the Immortal+ rank?
I was at ~20th place as WW, now at 93rd (by the way, 2 days ago I was at 100th place, but moved up 7 places without playing LOL)
At first I thought it was because I was playing a new event, but yesterday after playing a few more normal games I saw my division fall again. WTF?
