I think dota tries to detect smurfs and puts them together. If they're sure you're a smurf they ban.

i've been getting matched with low lvl accounts today ( 5k bracket ) on my smurf is which is lvl 24, takes 10+ mins to find a game and every single plyer is below level 40 which is literally impossible in 5k bracket, anyone else experienced the same thing?
