Manta first after bf is kind of weak, and it's really greedy to go bf->yasha->vital or point booster->diffu->manta

when u build bf on non traditional bf heroes and you're an agi hero, you kinda go the typical agi hero carry build to optimize your timings and power spikes. so the second item is either sny or manta (kinda like jugg). you can still go manta diffusal but getting it after bf you delay and flatten your power spike a lot. id much rather go a greedier bigger item after manta (speaking from pov of playing jugg). but you know diffusal is kinda core for PL illusions..so i guess you could still go diffusal if you get bf at like 11 mins.

i feel like sny probably better than manta if you dont need the dispel (speaking from pov of playing jugg a lot and i really like bf>sny. im guessing that's probably a viable build for slark these days). im guessing same reasoning applies for PL. just generally tankier and faster. i wouldnt go bf manta diffusal anymore. so maybe just get butterfly, heart skadi. standard agi hero stuff, or dmg like nullifier mkb.

but to answer your question. sny is not a 'must have'. manta after bf is still very viable. but sny is just generally a good item and can be bought by pretty much anyone these days.

Usually if u go bf u don't want to go diffusal right after or ur illusions will be super squishy and u lose the early powerspike of diffusal, so SnY is a better alternative that scales better and still allows PL to stick to his targets with maim, plus the strength is rlly nice to help his illusions survive.

BF is made clearly to farm creeps faster, and the second thing you need to farm creeps faster when u have cleave (bf) is movement speed and that is the main thing that S+Y gives you. Cleave+mobility is the key for farming heros! Most obvious example: AM gets bf = because he can move around fast to farm creeps.

Other things provided by SnY are also important but not the main ones for BF+SnY build.

Yes movespeed is good but pl has rush and if u rlly wanted farm speed u wud go travels
Tb goes blink late, to jump on the backline, and solve his mobility issues

And no, you don't speedup your farm with travel pl, cause you take 3years to clean a fucking wave of creep if you don't go for tread + a cheap agi item or for a bf.

The bf itself doesn't even improve pl's farm ability when you factor the deadweight of the bf, and the almost mandatory useless sange. However it does help to rat

Travels does speed up ur farm I don't think u shud go that build tho it's too greedy.

situationally some PL go travels, but only if enemy pick allows it
