high skill starts at about 3.2k mmr (Archon 5), very high skill at about 3.7k (Legend 3). Your rank is about 2.4k (Crusader 5).
idk why people think being 3.2k is being highly skilled
3k is average, you're literally asking ''how do i become average?"
also, idk how many times people will ask this question a day without just reading the previous but imma just answer it here again
since you clearly aren't naturally made for this game, as you are low mmr after 3k matches, the only way you're getting anywhere higher is if you start tryharding instead of enjoying the game.
2.2k is average^ maybe not in eu since that server is extremely inflated, but for majority of servers it’s 2.2k average.
Now that’s not to say 3k is good. 3k is still garbage. In the end grind your way up, calibrating is a joke, in terms of you can’t jump 1k mmr. It’s a normal 10 games.
I'm simply asking how to achieve the 'High Skill' found on the Dotabuff website. I'm not asking how to boost my mmr. I just want to achieve that because its unclear to me what the criteria is.
Or essentially just asking how can I further improve my game. I handle myself fine in 4k Party games and still got low MMR calibration.
High skill has nothing to do with how you played in the game it has to do with the skill level of the players in the game. You will not get "High skill" in solo games unless you are 3k+ mmr as others have said.
"I just want to achieve that because its unclear to me what the criteria is."
the average mmr in the game is the only criteria
OP. The match u linked is hardly good kda or gpm or HD or TD. You need it to be much higher in normal skill to get to high skill.
Try this, being the only with 20 kda in your team (everyone else in your team did well, you didn't perform exceptionally). Your gpm should be 700 (500 is bad for a won game). Try 300 cs in a 35 min game. Your hero damage td should be much higher than everyone else in your team.
You can get put into high skill by playing with higher mmr players. But players at higher mmr are more often toxic
Dude you're not listening to the other comments. To get high skill, you need to play at a high mmr also. If you're 2k, even you go 10 rampages in 1 game, it is still a normal skill. And yes for dotabuff, if you play 3.2k -3.6k, (average) you will generally get High skill and above that range is Very High Skill.
So if you party with your high mmr friends like, 4.5k-5.k , there's a chance you will get high skill. Hope this helps

I thought the high skill game ran off KDA and LH/DN as well as damage overall. So when I got the best in nearly everything how have I not achieved 'High skill'? Can someone tell me where i'm going wrong so I can learn please?
