[0, 1] = 0 and 1
(0, 1) = everything between 0 and 1 excluding 0 and 1
<0, 1> = everything between 0 and 1 including 0 and 1

Arin is confusing {1, 2} with [1, 2].
Sets with specific elements can be denoted with {1, 2, 3, 4 ... }.
