sk is very strong during laning phase, and has almost guaranteed stun. He is great, but you wont be able to solo carry your team. ES is decent too, even without pulls, once you get your blink there is always that fear of counter initiation on your part so he is great. But honestly if you wanna solo carry get LC after blink blade+mail plus some dmg item u can go aghs and pretty much insta lock/kill their key players. Plus lc scales better into late, and god knows with a fucking shit show that low 4k is you wanna be able to solo carry.
so i should focuse more on heroes that can be carry as well
lc, abba,slardar,lone?
Centaur is still pretty strong. You might not be able to carry your team. But you can make sure your team gets enough kills to snowball. People really underestimate double edge. get the safelane carry low if you can. then just double edge him to death and use fery fire (idk how to spell that) Just make sure you kill him with it. else you'll probably end up ded instead.
Legion as stated before. Altough idk how strong of an offlaner she is. (she gets always played in jungle in 2k kek).
Regarding SK. That guy can be pretty much your carry. Get ags blink and heart. People can't do jack shit to you. The cd on your stun is also pretty legit. Even if your team is mentaly disabled theres no way they die to a stunned/slowed person.
^ I am not a very good player and I dropped a lot of mmr a few months ago and went pretty much from 4900 to 4100 and I noticed that generally speaking in low 4k games you want to be able to solo carry because people are... well they aren't exactly good. So I'd suggest someone that scales well.
I dont play weaver offlane, just because he is very weak in laning phase. But you are playing in sub 2k so anything with inv is stupidly strong
P.S. If you do go weaver tho, wait to see their picks
If you want to shitstomp and get a really fast low-4k, then: Broodmother, Abaddon, Spirit Breaker, Underlord, Enchantress or Timbersaw.
In my case it ain't naked theory, because I've easily grinded 4000-4200 on 3 different accounts w/these heroes. Also, I've played almost exclusively offlane.
My suggestion may fulfill your practical requirements.
i go for axe, shaker, lc as my core offlane pool, but i work well with cent as well
weaver is shit in the offlane
ld is out of the meta
underlord is a great pick, im just not comfortable with him but the hero has a super high winrate
sk is situational, he can rekt melee opponents, but i have trouble against decent lanes, but again im not comfortable with the hero sooo
actually seems like shaker can carry nubs as well
https://www.dotabuff.com/matches/3339610905
and as sm1 mentionet pitlord, can you please tell me why he is so strong, what is his advantages
You all are so bad at Dota.
There is no meta below 5K just play your comfort hero or hero you found you have most fun with it.
^i have found furion most fun to play offlane, at 3k your just use trents and one click on carry, they lose almost all heal(they have 4 tangos almost always) till min 2, and than i start dominate the lane
the problem i am not good with np as i want to be, and i dont do a shit to triple safe lane, just leaving lane and farming close jungle , hoping the dump carry gonna push lane close to my tower
Then start pratice your NP if you already good on early game at your bracket, try to improve your middle and late game, try some different build ect.
The things that get me from 3.7 to 4.2K in 1 month is a Shadowblade,Basher Ursa I play it my way and didn't care for any pro shit advice other gave me.
By doing that,I found myself very relex and can meme all the way, that's why I improve in a short period, because I didn't really care much and just want to have fun
venomancer is slow and easy to harass
he can jungle for early levels then go offlane tho i think
also @licetea
this isnt necessarily abt "oh wow this x hero will win all games must tryhard"
its abt what works for other people
what icetea said, you can do whatever you want basically as long as you're good at it.
i ran arc warden offlane once in high 4k cus i felt bored and it actually worked, i actually beat 3lanes with arc XD.
shaker is the more favorable offlaner rn
basically all the str heroes offlaners are good, puck void are good also
its just a matter of preference and what the situation needs
I only play Void and weaver offlane. weaver when enemy has no lockdown and void when they have damage spells (Skywraith, lion etc).
To be honest non of them feel very satisfying as I can't carry the team with them even when I get as much farm as the enemy carry. so if you want to win 1v9 pick some snowballers like Brood.
if you actually pay attention after each ult and see if you couldve placed it somewhere else for better use you should learn quickly
when i was horrible i would use it like duel-click directly on target so nothing can reach you from any side. this is a huge goddamn waste. A good chrono keeps the enemy from reaching you or your allies, and allows your allies to do damage to the stunned individuals as well. Sometimes it even pays to wait for someone to be slowed or stunned so you can catch them on the edge and allow melee heroes like ursa to hit them
obviously the use case depends on what you need to kill someone. it can be better to chrono a teammate to catch BM and antimage, than just chrono AM and then get roared. Similarly, what looks like a good chrono can fail due to a lack of damage; knowing the position of your teammates is key. if luna is right next to your chrono target but you can keep her out of the bubble, great. if she's 1400 units away, you might be better off waiting.
however, if you are ahead enough that you can kill someone yourself, there is no need to wait on your team. just ensure that your positioning and ult positioning prevents you from being stunned
I agree with licetea but i would say playing meta hero takes less skill to destroy the enemy ancient. I rush ac on clinks everygame and it works lmao( honestly i dont know how to build him) you can basically ran random shit and still won because you punish their mistake
ive chronoed someone so that husk was on the edge to die to pa and necro was on the other edge to die to kunkka boat
it takes some practice but it mostly takes a bit of thinking
i chronoed legion while dueling so that legion was stunned but the dueled viper was not
im not some great skilled man
u just need to think a bit
lich as offlaner support is good idea, use 3th skill on ally range creep, keeps deny ally creep, and dont take last hit. makes your enemy safe lane out farmed and creep wave still in near your tower. keep harass enemy safe lane and let's your core offlane save farm.
lul slardar and spirit
breaker offlane1k confirmed
))
ppl play them as roamers predominately = theyre not viable offlaners anymore!
2k confirmed
mostly played as roamers, sometimes viable in offlane = strong offlaners
right? mr idontshowmymmr?
i like to play clockwerk and brewmaster in offlane, sometimes centaur.
The only way you lose your lane as brewmaster is against a trilane.
dont put words in my mouth
theyre not strong offlaners, but theyre decent and u can easily fp both of them and do smth no matter what is their safelane
esp in ur bracket where its almost impossible to come across ppl that will manage to completely zone u out
Clock, ES, Night Stalker, tusk, centaur, underlord maybe.
U can also roam with these ones, but the xp really helps them win the lane and dominate the mid game

is there are some 'more stronger' today than other one?
i want to create some hero pull of 2-3 heroes
is earth still legin, as i know u cant pull now as i could before
when is it bad idea to pick sk, i find him really strong, but didnt play much
please help, stacked here for 2 months, how to get low 4k
