is there any way to reduce the amount of exploiters by either removing obvious abusers from the leaderboards or by resetting the leaderboards every few days?

at the moment it's absolutely impossible to get top 1 since those exploits got fixed already, and that's pretty stupid imo since valve keeps actively changing siltbreaker by removing items etc

They should be based on patch. If I counted correctly, we are in 10th place among the people playing in the same patch, but 46th overall.

or add date/patch filters like in match lists

also only having 1 place in leaderboard per party(with their best time) would help, in the top 20 there are only 9 unique parties

we hear ya. we're waiting to see whether the game mode is stable until we make a decision regarding the leaderboard.

i mean ppl always argue "its not a bug, its a feature" and i might agree with that

but as soon as a feature gets deleted, so should you get deleted from the leaderboard, simple as that, ty anw

the problem is that u cant know for sure whether people abused a certain "feature" or not, so just having different leaderboards for every patch with 1 entry per stack seems like the most rational thing to do

removing duplicate games of the same stack would make sense regardless fo what u decide to do about the fixed bugs that previously allowed to cut the time significantly

this thread may cause an impression that a lot of ppl are bothered, but actually just 1 stack of silt is involved in it.
