theres not a trick. they know that time is of the essence unlike 99.9% of players

you can drag or go to setting and assign any key to it, you wont have to drag simply click the key + item and it will auto drag it self
for me the default keys were:
-LeftShift + click item for 1 item to drag and 1 item to showup
-LeftShift + LeftCtrl + click item for 1 item to drag + you can add other items (this way while with shift + click items only 1 will be assigned to the fast buy bar )

yeah like you see when SumaiL?(i think it was) made that crazy blink dagger play by swapping from active to backpack and back then blinking before dmg is taken after backpack cooldown

It can be done, but you need to override dota with AHK scripts which is unacceptable in dota.
