Another option, which sounds reasonable to me is the following: these were the games where everyone got 6 slotted and 1 team decided to rat or mb after a pick off the team chose to make a final push. I think that is actually the reason.
OD is a terrible tower hitter, buying a necronomicon actually lets him do damage to buildings. If you are absolutely destroying the game, going 5 necros is a legit way to end the game at 18 minutes. But if it backfires you suddenly sunk so much net worth into a suboptimal item.
necro has a high winrate cuz in a base race scenario, somone will just buy a full necro 3 from enemy shop and use it to kill ancient faster

Hi everyone, I was looking for items with high win rate on OD and I saw there necronomicon between rapier and octarine core. I decided to look at necro 3 stats and saw that almost all heros have about 200 games with it with some really high win rates. At first I thought these were some games against Medusa, but what does OD do there with necronomicon?
So, the question is; is there something about necronomicon people know that I don't know about?
