I think Echo Sabre is more terrible of a choice than RoA.
However, the problem is, that even though the build-up is easy and it gives nice stats, way too much of it's cost is accumulated by excess attributes (1000 for staff of wizardry + 1100 for the recipe).
Though it's far from not being viable.

echo sabre i lately also found lacking somehow

usually though i get armlet, buy a smoke and ask team to invade jungle. normally i get 3 kills and 1-2 towers so after armletso can almost instantly buy the whole next item. so a small costeffctive item like echo or roa prolongs the power spike

Echo is garbage now tbh, doesn't offer much fighting power anymore. Not sure about Atos, it's not a item that gives you a huge spike in power, might work tho. Take my views with a mountain of salt, I quit playing cores.

Atos is a support item, everyone needs to stop theory-crafting it on cores, I've tried it on smurf accounts, the wizardry staff and recipe 2000g seriously can be used to buy a yasha sange armlet or sth. You'll lose a lot of damage buying that shit.
Even if you catch someone from a long range, their whole team will have time to react and come to the rescue as you walk a distance to rift and can't one finish off the target.
It's situational on pos 3 or 4, but never consider it on pos 1,2 core.
Seriously stop thinking of it as a STR core item, the bracers are for squishy supports to sustain longer in fights. The only STR heroes that can make use of it are Pudge and Undying because they don't really have must-buy items.

Instead of making those elusive fucks stay down longer, why not make the most of your stun duration instead?
The stats are kinda lackluster for CK tbh
