Nevermind, maybe they showed their MMR when they were 3.6k and decided to not show it, and dropped down to flat 3k
You can't remove the MMR you've shown before, and it'll freeze at the number of your MMR the last time you've shown it

I'm calibrating, and it said on the Hero Selection Screen that the average MMR for the game is around 3k, while showing the highest MMR from each team - both around 3k (not 2.9k, not 3.1k really just around 3k). Then after the game, I checked the DOTABUFF accounts of my teammates and opponents, and some of them have 3.2k and 3.6k solo MMR. Why though?
