if u can lose a game in 20 min it isnt cause u have a bf its cause u went bf. the reason people lose games is they have no game sense and cant change their build to adapt to the current match

i feel although i should make atos more than i do, everytime i make it, the item feels god tier. However, its super situational when i buy it. That item is dope.

Also, why do people think that MKB is a damage item? I see people getting MKB all the time instead of Daedalus when the enemy has no evasion.
^^on a ranged hero it basically means no miss chance, and for right clicker who has no built-in bash, MKB is very nice for stopping TP. and that little proc is kinda nice, so MKB is very good for hero that has very low BAT (flatranger, sniper, jugg) and imo Deadulus only seems fine to the hit-and-run hero like sven, kunkka, weaver, and such.

@JDF8: Is orchid really that bad on slark though? I've had games where my friend had to get an early orchid in order to mess with ember, that forced ember to get a manta, but only after he'd died to slark multiple times. IMO, in some games it's pretty good, but highly situational (like when you have to kill people who can get out of your pounce, before they get too big themselves). But I am pretty sure that if you rush it majority of games, it's a game losing choice.
What? Sange and yasha is fucking amazing. It's just not as good as it used to be. Still, easiest build up in the game, useful on every hero except maybe int ones, move speed, great proc on melee.
It really depends on the hero which item sucks. Universally I'd say:
Mask of madness, just a bad item, only good on 1 hero I can think of right now (medusa cus of how shield reduces dmg before amplification).
Desolator, only core on PA, extremely situational on everyone else. Deso jug or sniper is usually asking to lose.
Radiance rush, just cus bootless alchs and brown boots only spectres lose when rushing this.
Linkens rush, it's actually an ok first item on medusa and morph, but pubs farm so fucking slowly they are better off just stopping at perserverance and building a farm item like yasha or something.
orchid slark just renders your hero ineffectual 10-15 minutes after you buy it unless you go 25-0
basher before SE is probably great but id rather have the extra burst cdr and 300 hp in most games
i love SNY however i think the item is alot worse than it once was, now that the silver edge recipee no longer uses the sange, so the sange becomes deadweight lategame. Generally, i'd rather my carry have a yasha + drums, or Dlance + yasha etc than an SNY
Midgame, it has its uses though.
deso sniper ls super legit i believe, sniper you have to be aware of ur timings because you want skadi in a lategame sniper but deso really rekts hero like ls, huskar, AM
While deso sniper is hectic, its still very situational as you're not benifiting from headshot with it, maelstorm is generally better for fighting, however deso is good for sieging, so there is that.
The problem with deso sniper is he is such a glass cannon then and just gets wrecked in most pubs as they cannot position correctly. I do deso sniper if I'm way ahead but it's rare and almost every pubber dies too much for it. You need some hp/mobility first like hurricane pike, s&y/manta, silver edge, something.

Headshot is physical yes, but it scales its proc's off of attack speed, so you're getting more damage from attack speed than you would from -armour

Actually, deso and maelstrom/mjolnir can be bought together. Deso only fails to proc when maelstrom pocs, and that doesn't matter because deso only refreshes the debuff duration.

Except for that storm spirit who zip zaps and he can't even hit him and gets vortexed to death cus no bkb. And that spirit breaker who 2 shots him off a charge, bash, ult cus no hp and he can't out run a charge he sees coming cus no mobility items. And the PA who dodges the right clicks and blink strike and crits sniper to death cus he has no hp. And the axe who calls and sniper kills himself on blade mail, legion commander who does the same thing. And the slark who leashes into ult and kills him before it wears off cus sniper has no hp.
Look you can say oh you shouldn't be out of position and get jumped on by those guys but PA and storm can dive a sniper under towers so easily if all he has is deso, treads, crystalis.
If you have a team that will back you up and frontline in team fights deso is a very good purchase, or if enemy has no real gap closers or gankers. Otherwise it's very dubious.
its not about being behind towers its about using ur teammates as bait and piking the 1 guy smart enough to go on you anyway
How has no one has mentioned divine rapier? I feel like that item has thrown the most games by a very large margin.
