he cant do that either. which is a huge problem if your safelaner is downs syndrome or a hero like ember / storm
First off, dont pick him if you got a safelaner which cant hit towers, I'd like atleast 2-3 heroes that can front line. Also dont pick him into (multiple) Vision heroes (bat, sb, bm,...).
Switch between jungle and lanes for farming and prioritize kills over afk farming lanes. You shouldnt get jumped in the first place, you seem to perform well on sniper, position yourself similar to where you'd be playing sniper, ofcourse with the added mobility of blink.
My friend who plays a good tinker at 6k+ complains that he isn't the greatest hero in solo ranked because although you can get massive and take over a game you actually need your safelaner to hit buildings at some point, and no matter how farmed you are unlike other 1v5 heroes like Alche, Naga, AM etc if you make 1 mistake and get caught out and jumped you die 100%. That being said this hero has such a high mechanical skillcap that unless you are 7k+ there is room to improve there and win games more often.
I actually have the same problem with tinker recently i watched a pro play analysis and it was like in fights stay behind trees and out of vision and ofc map awareness is important
From my own performance tho i think i position myself far into the fight my biggest problem i guess ...
fight with ur team shitstain, dont just rat the whole game and wait for the enemy to rax the entire game, u make the game miserable for ur teammates

could someone outline this because i just always lose
i can have any item i just get jumped and die / im not useful enough in fights if i get 2 hex + EB off or whatever item
and he farms not so much faster than anyone except in jungle mb and then ur vylnerable as fuck
so often i march a wave 2x and get half the cs, do i just need to cut waves only
