I always played LoL and you kinda were forced to chose what lane to play in ranked (you could only choose two and you are assigned a lane) so i would play mid/jungle and sometimes top. What i found is that i just liked characters with high skill cap and most of those will be found in the mid lane so i focus mid in DotA. Maybe try forcing yourself to stick to a lane or a hero pool for a period of time then maybe your judgement might become clearer...
@69Tinker yeah, same as I thought before I just used to stick to carry or support until I found out MID is more challenging. So I spammed heroes like Invoker (still couldn't master him) or Ember and such... ended up always getting ganked and no one helps. Sigh....
@Tasaina I could really play any style that is why my playstyle is so mixed up. i couldn't focus in one role only.
Why do you feel the need to main a role? If you are good at all roles, you are a bigger credit to the team.
If you insist on a role, looking at your profile, you actually aren't that good of a high-reflex mid but are better as a damage / utility core who deletes the enemy's key hero or teamfight combo with your ulti. Aim more for a utility 2/3 position playstyle (QW Invo, Bat, Silencer, OD, Necro, QoP, Blood, BM, Axe, Slardar) and watch how s4 plays.
@不会不练 well i think you're right, i dont suit MID but still i always play QW Invo, OD or blood. I really like mid and i'm really doing to my best here :/
Depends what you like. I have come to enjoy the position 5 support it allows so much freedom I just pull stack and let the carry have all the experience grab rune. You can literally do ANYTHING!
@Maybach Obviously you don't play ranked games. Maybe your playstyle and grammar really belong to 2K games. I'm just asking for everyone's opinion here since I play all roles.
@Jack Attack well I do like going for mid now... but my mid hero pool are not that big :/
