any range core should have lance. its too good of an item not to have. great stats and increased range. you know pretty quick if your range hero is a noob if they dont get this item
Dopple is a 6 second cooldown though, It is low cooldown yes, but I do believe it's always better to pickup more mobility instead of sacrificing it for less?

Firstly , I`m not a pro or anything, I`m a 4.3k~ player and have recently climbed a bit
I`ve recently started playing PL as I find him quite fun and enjoy him ; I`m also that type of player that enjoys doing the extraordinary builds on certain heroes and have been testing Pike on PL. I personally find it to work as the stats are nice on him , gives int which helps with mana issues, gives str and agi, which is what he needs to be able to fight up against someone, the force staff component is quite nice as it gives him more mobility , which is something he does not lack but certainly loves. Basically Dopple down to low group , enemy blinks down you force up and tp out , small things like that. I`ve also done where I start running with an illusion, making it seem like the real hero and then forcing it further , causing people to chase the illusion around. I`m not sure if it is worth the item slot though, I normally play PL mid and not on safelane spot so it's not like I`m normally pos 1.
My casual build on him is normally aquilla -> pts/bots -> diff -> yasha -> dragon lance -> Manta -> Pike and then extension items.
Well let me know what you guys think on it as I find it as an interesting topic.
