i think you need to have a really good k/d/a in your first matches , check my matches , i had really high kda in my first matches , and somehow i got to high skill bracket in the next matches , . you need to have more kills than your teammates , and less deaths .

I feel like this is the same guy in different accounts making these

i lost my 5 recent game but get very high skill.
i think its count by how you play your role, roaming, saving your team mate,suporting, fast responding and etc

my last hit creeping with suport hero average under 50 lh, more death than kill but still got very high skill.

yeah, not the point. i play ranked only so i can improve, not picking support heroes to win mmr (i was 4k when i was picking only last and what our team needed. by starting to play to improve and not to just win i've dropped over 600 mmr so far) . also im muted which kind of justifies a large portion of my losses, some of which i did indeed lose cause of my own incompetence..

if a guy can smurf into 5k bracket and stay there, he's probably above 4k. much like the 2k ranked and 5k unranked pub are in entirely different worlds. so basically if you can't have at least 95% winrate in normal skill, you won't be able to hold your own in 5k average unranked games, and you won't maintain the real vhs (4k unranked bracket that is filled with smurfs is exactly same as NS, so it doesn't count)
