While he does great job rekt the early-mid game, there are simply better choices for pos 2-3 semi carry. And his ult is not as strong in the current STR meta as it did previous patches.
Plus if you have silence he cant ult, so he cant avoid death.
He was very popular, but them they started picking silencer and ulting middle teamfight, so they never got the ult out, and the hero just lost popularity.
Love that hero but i believe its underpowered i was playing him mid long time ago. The problem is you cant rely on your ultimate. high cd and getting disabled punishes you hard
It was LPQ in my smurf... Everyone in my team left 2 min into the game... so enemy remained underpowered and I became super fat

One of my favourite heroes ever is Brew . I always loved him just because to me he was part of that bear story , as origin of the 3 spirits xD . But as a hero , he's pretty fun to play . Very good hero at mid , the 2nd skill can really be useful when used properly , and the 1st skill has crzy high damage . Even his ult is just so useful when used right . But hardly anyone plays him . Even in the pro scenes , I've only seen NoTail and a few Chinese teams play him . What's the deal with Brew ?
