They will surely put the first match in a lower skill bracket to see if you can stomp there. If you play like a Highskill player you will end up in highskill itself. But if you stomp hard... you will go up to VHS in the calibration... from your results it's clear that you couldn't do well in your calibraton games... My first calibration was in HS too but I progressed to VHS during calibration itself and calibrated at 4.2k
As on what i understand (u said mostly) so their is still highskill matches right? So your first average mmr is based on your normal matches and if its 3.2 then
your past games just did not meet the standards of being calibrated at a higher mmr. Sorry but u cant blame volvo :D
can i ask a question here? , if im at high skill bracket and i stop at my TBD games do i have a chance to be calibrated at a VHS mmr?

My skill bracketing before the TI came up was VHS(very high skill) bracketing. Realizing the past research I've done that vhs is 3.9k mmr up. I was glad to check on my account everytime i end a game. I was still lv37 on my trophies. Then TI booster came up that day and i can instantly find my 10 ranked calibration matches. Thinking that because of my past games (mostly VHS) , i thought that my TBD average mmr would be at around 3.9k-4k esh. But volvo just gave me 3.2k average match ups. Seeing my first rank match in my account, it was only HS bracketing. And I ending up with only 3.4k as my mmr. Volvo why.
