Well Git Gud basicly means improve the things that you lack right now, there is no other way, improve your farming, map awareness, communication, etc. So Git Gud means all of those thigs that you look for as an advice.
That's just public matchmaking, my friend is 1.9K MMR, and he gets put into VHS public matches too. Played on his account at his house, they felt like ranked normal skill games.

I know that I definitely did not win any of these games on my own 1v9, but why is that it's possible for me to do so? I'm only 2.7k.

I do lose a lot of the hero picks don't work, or I don't know the hero I'm playing that well. Or even as Riki (best hero). Sometimes I die a lot or get shut down early.
Is there a way I can learn to carry these games better, aside from Git Gud? Communication is one thing.
