I paid 100 dollars and I see them going for 160 dollars on the community market. How is this fair?
If you're expecting to get something marked "rare" or "ultra rare", it doesn't matter how many times you try, you don't even know the percentages, and even if the percentage for those drops were 5% and 1%, no amount of bought chests would GUARANTEE you getting any of those items. Actually, even if the percentage for getting both was exactly 99%, if there's no PRD system involved, you'd still not be guaranteed to get any of those items, even if you bought thousands of chests. Meanwhile some other guy buying only one chest can get both the rare and the ultra rare, with only one try. There's no justice in gambling.
What is the point of buying chests when most people buy it individually in the market to save money.
The point is to spend less money than you usually would for a set, and have a chance to get something worth much more. It's effectively gambling.

Because currently there are more arcanas in the pool than there are those DP sets, it's considered valuable by the community and it's not easy to get it.

Nope, you get whatever it says you get, and there are different circumstances to get different things. If you spend 100$ fishing rare and ultra rare things and blame the system on not conforming to you, it's completely your fault and has absolutely nothing to do with the actual system you're faulting. As I said, somebody might get both rare and the ultra rare when he buys the first one, that's literally how RNG works.
