I mean, I saw your match history with TA. You can't do much if your teammates suck, do they? It is a team game after all, you can't push and kill alone.

They have honestly been pretty bad, granted im not the worlds best TA but I feel i can now play her decently and i thought that i had these last 4 TA games I played but ive only won 2 of them. Reason being was because after 40 mins i couldnt do shit. I couldnt even 2 shot a sniper. Is that my itemization or just how TA is?

End before 40 mins. My average TA game is 37 mins. Winrate drops to negative in games longer than 50mins.

Your item build is standard, the only problem I see in your matches is that you don't seem to farm much or you can't seem to keep up the cs in late game. 248 cs in 49 mins is pretty awful for a hero like TA. Do you do ancients early? Do you ever go for midas? Do you rush deso? or dagger?

I do normally farm well until i get my blink and deso which then I'm very active, which could be one of my problems. I tend to stop farming at around 30ish mins when everyone is grouping and fighting every 30 seconds. My avg cs w TA at 30 mins is around 180-200 in those 4 games. Im still trying to figure our how to, where too, and when it is a good time to farm. I only recently started playing a core position.

But thank you. I know i can rosh and farm quickly with TA I think i just dont fully understand the strengths of the hero quite yet.

When you buy Deso, buy smoke as well and take out Roshan. Really easy for TA.

Use Psi Blades beyond lanining stage, you can demolish durable targets if you hit them trough low armored ones.

Tread switch.

ideally you want to deathball down a lane with your second aegis

first aegis is somewhere around deso/blink, use it to snowball your items and take the outer towers

second aegis to go high ground

if you are forced to go late just split push

work on your farm and item timings and you automatically become a good TA

In the 26-7 lost game he had 900 TD as TA, and 200 cs in 60 minutes.
This means that he was running around trying to kill people the entire game, doing absolutely nothing to win the game because dota is a deathmatch

when you win the game or lose the game, just ask your team to stack ancient for you, easy win

1. You should have more games to see your winrate on her. Don't be sad.
2. Your items is legit, mb you should reconsider your playing style?

So I have some expirience on that hero (5400 solo) and that is my thoughts:
1) PT > Phases
2) Practice harassing with blades
3) You should stack ancients for yourself
4) After you got pt, ring of aquilla and 7-8 lvl go clean stacks. It will take about 40-50 secs.
5) 12-15 you got deso. Bring a smoke and go sneakkill Roshan. You should be not less than 70-80% of hp/mp to do that. Use refraction 8 sec before you reach roshpit.
6) Encourage your team to push t1-t2 towers with your aegis. And buy dagger.
7) Ask your supports to ward enemies base entrances and wait next Rosh.
8) Destroy enemy base with next aeg.

So you should keep in mind your game plan to success with that hero. Mb somethimes you should change it and splitpush when you can't win the fight (mb you have no bkb or your opponents is too fed). Sometimes enemies hate you and you can't farm your first items, you are duying in early fights and there is always Vietnam in mid -> go build drums.

And one more. TA can carry after 60 min, but you should be very correct in your items. Be patient, buy only what you really need in one click. Dont go for crystalis when enemy carry can suddenly buy evasion. Just wait a bit and keep gold for bb. Then you should change Deso for something more valueable in late.

do you go phase yasha or something like that in that case?

and what's the ideal 6 slotted TA in late game? it's pretty easy to farm since you one shot whole wave of creeps but i'm quite not sure with items so i won't get melted 1 second after i jump on someone

or just general tips on how to play TA in late where people have glimmers and bashers and whatever stuff would be great

Last 500 games on TA I've almost never bought phases. Only in fun builds with phases-mom-say-daedalus.
I think pt is always more profitable in deso-dagger build. Very often next items are bkb or mkb or daedalus and you have nothing that gives you attack speed. Plus I really like pt-switching.

Let's count. Boots, dagger. Deso if it's not 60+ game and you are not rebuilding.
So there are most valueable items for TA in general:
Bkb, Daedalus, Butterfly, Assault Cuirass.
If you dont have to get some situational items like manta, mkb or diffusials you should get as much as possible items from list above. Just because these items have more value for her than another.

Some example:
pt dagger deso bkb butterfly daedalus.

PS. Ofc you should try to push asap with second aegis or even with first one. Especially versus so popular Spectre today.

funny you only seem to have 123 games, i'm the one with 500 and i can say that treads are overrated, phase boots are a lot stronger than what people give them credit for (tried both for hundreds of games)

nice tips guys. i recently realised after being so shit with the hero that one of the main things is trying to get blink + Deso before 18-20 mins. now i focus alot on farming, rosh, and tower to help achieve this timing.
