I use it as core on bane now, makes grip easier to hit while still hiding, can use brain sap to finish off escaping heroes, and gives nightmare legitimate range to use as an escape, or to catch fleeing heroes
I like it on dazzle, you can stay back so far in team fights and also split push with the shadow wave safely. Not worth on omni IMO since he should be closer to the fights. Maybe situationally.
The buildup is easy and the passives are pretty nice for squishy supports so its not a bad pickup but yeah ideally you're gonna have a medallion of a courage or something else in addition to it.
I always get this before my Blink Dagger as Rubick. It's magical how convenient you can steal spells. Gives you better positioning without risking your squishy life. Ravage is easier to steal than ever.
Batrider benefits a lot from this too.

Yes, it works with all the things that octarine core does, with octarine core you can lifesteal from stifling dagger and sven's cleave, for example, so you get 8% spell damage for those things too which is kinda funny.
It's really good on a handful of heroes, for others it's a waste of gold and slot. Also, as kitrak said, really gotta love giving up on arcanes for this shit on heroes that don't benefit that much from it...

Well this items is quiet good for support actually
Giving regen, Magic resistance, bonus cast range and 8% amplify
I wonder if omni or dazzle use it, is it amplify the heal effects also?
