i had this problem when i was overclocking my amd card but i restored defaults on affterburner or change an option and the problem was gone
Hmm, maybe my oc option is on and I even don't know about that :D

Has anybody here encountered invalid_pointer errors while playing dota? It will just crash without any error message, but after digging in some dump files I found that usually it's either invalid_pointer_read or invalid_pointer_write. Anybody knows how to fix that?
I'm pretty much done now, I've done everything I could even imagine, starting with chkdsk, sfc and dism commands and finishing with whole freaking windows reinstallation (and dota too). Nothing helps.
I thought it was my hardware or uefi/bios settings, never found anything.
My specs again:
amd fx8350
kingston hyperx 16 gb 1833
msi 970 motherboard
msi 960 gtx nvidia 4gb
