you are already in the middle of ur calibration. your mmr will be more or less same one as the average mmr of your current games, which you can see on the pick stage.

it doesnt matter tbh
at this point, you gain hidden mmr in NMM with same speed you would do it in RMM, so it doesnt matter when to switch to RMM; your overall mmr progress gonna stay more or less the same. However, playing in ranked matches gonna give you constant output in form of your mmr, so you'll be able to track your progress. that can kinda motivate you: it's always easier to work when you are able to see the result.
