+to Pathos Verdes III, he mentioned all the most viable offlaners in 5k+ atm
@doge
the fact that you see it played as pos 4 in most cases doesnt equal the fact that he cant be played as succesfull offlaner
he can leech exp if player is not blind and knows where the sentries are and lasthits every 10 seconds with 2 clarities untill he gets lvl 6, and fast track for bh works nice for team. after that, he leaves lane and #4 support (preferably greedy one like lina, tusk etc.) can farm/get exp there, while bounty actually starts doing shit
Sniper is the best offlaner in this meta

Every hero is viable offlaner as long as you keep the supports busy and don't feed.
prettysure ur job as offlaner is to do shit early/mid game until carry gets farmed enuff to hit the fan
and bh only does that against poorly coordinated teams who can't buy sentries
"bounty hunter is not an offlane hero"
4Head?
Every heroes can play offlane. It's the mechanical skill is the most important here. Did you watch AdmiralBulldog solo offlane with Sniper or Aui_2000 with Enchantress (even a Pudge) and they both owned the lane.
@pubs
i play bh offlane myself pretty often, and normally i have 2 sentries in the starting pack. also I pay attention to where the enemy palces their sentries, and in most cases i can easily leech experience without getting into the ward range which is much lower than the AoE of exp.
also some offlaners scale into the lategame, and the others do not. Windranger and timbersaw are extremely good in the very late stage, for example/
Am is not a good offlane hero (low starting armor/HP and base damage) , Jug can win offlane. AM is too items dependent and not a strong level dependent while Jug can be very scary at level 6 with just phrase boot + shield + ring of basilius. Spin helps him to dodge stunt and healing wards help him to stay in lane longer. Same concept why some team pushed Void to offlane (backtrack + leap, fast level 6 ulti). Offlane play requires a very strong mechanical skill + understanding of line up , but generally there are 3 goals in laning-phrase.
1. Get as much gold/exp possible . Then try to catch up in mid-phrase game.
2. Interrupt enemies carry/support exp + gold (contest pull, disrupt creeps equilibrium)
3. Defend tower against pushes.
4. Secure top rune control, TP to punish enemies diving. Report enemies supports if missing
Transition from laning to mid game is very hero specific, so the approach on every heroes is not the same.
btw at first i thought it would be difficult to distinguish you and afeect when in-game cz of same nicks, but it turned out to be ez - afeect is the skilled deez nuts and you are the nub deez nuts, hard to confuse.

If bounty is not an offlaner, where do you play him, really? I mean obviously he can roam, but he can also be level 3 10 minutes in... He does not offer too much utility for a trilane and he's not going to get that level 6 soon.
@road to 0k
if you re-watch ti5 matches, you gonna see a lot of roaming pos 4 bountyhunters babysitting mid, ganking courier and threatening all the lanes with the possibility of their presence. however, it doesnt work well in pubs.

Can you make a list of viable offlane heroes in this meta?
I mean heroes that can be played with a TEAM, not in pubs, at 5k+ MMR range.
