well, in the active period purely organizational stuff takes 7-10 hrs a week, which is a lot for me. if i wasnt able to do everything while travelling, we wouldnt get to play anywhere besides tournaments hosted through faceit.

I play dota for like 3 years now never played any Moba b4 and im 4k actually.
Where have you been After 3 years? is 4k ok or should i uninstall?
it just really depends on how much you're trying to imrpove urself, i basically got 8k or more hours in dota but i spend the first 4k in normal skill until ranked came out
I started in mid - late 2012 or something, it took me ~9-10 months to reach vhs and ~1 year after that to get ~5k I had about 1400 - 1500 games in total I think. In 2014 I was kinda inactive, I was counter strike kid, never played dota 1 or hon or anything, only fps shooters mostly, oh yeah I played lol in 2011 ~60-70 games I think xd

It think that 5k in ~3 years or less is a very good result actually, at least when you compare to the average(there are tons of players who play from like '11-'12 with 4k+ games and are still 4k). And thse are not even the worst players, there are just as many ppl with same stats who are still in NS somehow.
That depends on how much time and effort you sink into Dota ofc, I think if you tryhard, pick meta heroes, watch replays and games of 6-7ks and play a lot of Dota, like 7 games a day(honestly I've no idea how people manage to play 5+ games a day, I wanna kill myself after 3 or 4 usually), you can get 5k in under 2 years, even if you're not rly bright Dota-wise.

Im going to university this year. Dota is the only good game i can play on my old pc. So i would play like 1or2 year and then buy a console and play some real video game!
like, the initial idea is following: the tournament is full so i cant quit it and join again. however, i can swap roster and standins after the registration without having to leave it. there was (and still is) a rather high chance that someone is not going to show up, so i chose two guys whom i would ask to play for us first - u and sam.
i didnt even think about it blocing ur potential registraion with other people.
we play for practice, and im not expecting us to get past best128 in any case. there are a lot of teams that are better than us, like really A LOT. and some of them can just roll over us and finish the game in 15 minutes.
so far im fine with doing all this stuff myself

besides said above, standins can be used during the regional qualifiers, but it doesnt matter, i suppose.
