Oh my god, 750 mmr must be an amazing game. Can i try your account? I put it on 1.5k in a few days.
Maybe that's where you belong and you need to improve?
Honestly, if you're gonna smurf to make yourself feel better, you're no better than Blunt.
dude, 750 mmr is like not even a game of dota.. MMR games less than 3500 are more about which team has the better carry, which team has the better hero for picking off shitters. Supports dont really matter that much since every game will go into late game since both teams dont know how to properly end the game. Pick riki or weaver or slark or something like that, seriously.. at that level invisibility = invincibility
why would you care that much about losing 1-2 games? you can just play for fun and enjoy losses as well as wins.
People always forget that a year ago a new dota player calibrated at 2k + and now you calibrate at 500 , the mmr for a certain level goes lower and lower
I've been picking supports in these low mmr games and having success sooo I wouldn't say it doesn't matter that much
I'm a 3.4K player, but I think i belong in 4K (how original right?) That's one thing, and it's a common thing, but I'll just have to prove it, instead of just complaining about it. BUT... If you are a 1K player, and can't even climb past 1K MMR, then it's a totally different thing, you TOTALLY belong there until you improve, that's what I think anyways.
I know some 4K players who are amazing, and I think definitely belong in 5K, but they always have shit teams, but always have the stats to prove it (crazy GPM, level advantage, ect) and if they made an argument about them belonging in 5K, who knows, they may or may not be right about them belonging there. But if you're a 1K player who just makes account after account trying to calibrate where you THINK you belong, that's just disgusting, have a nice day. :) You even spam blood seeker >.>
@The Best Ever
I completely disagree with you! I calibrated 600 mmr and maybe at the time desevred it but it took me about 400-500 unranked games before I went back to it, I don't think I didn't improve in those 400-500 games and my knowledge of the game etc just felt way better then the (majority) of people I was playing with - For example a person wouldn't know what dust is
My main problem was I didn't know how to win a game for sure by out farming and dominating, especially seeing as I played support. For instance if the enemy sniper got fed I would have no idea how to deal with it no matter how bad they were. I think any one at 2k -level who doesn't play carry so much would battle with the lottery style games at 600 mmr. A 4k player would know how to take advantage of the mistakes made by everyone but I don't think every 2k player can.
If you are better you should win more then half but still a 60 % win rate is very slow mmr gain
also I've had my 3.5-4k friends play and they have won 2/6 games for me not even they haven't won easily
LOL You're in dotabuff, where every 5k is like IRL 10k and can see every mistake 10 minutes before enemy team even makes the mistake.
Anyone with sub 1k mmr NEEDS to recalibrate (IMO), you're literally going to play with the ppl who troll, feed, and are just not ready for ranked anyways. I started out at 900mmr 5 months ago, noob to Dota. I realized quickly that I am getting much better much more rapidly than my mmr was progressing. So I recalibrated to 1.5 k. Stuck there for maybe 2 months. Recalibrated to 2.4k.
I have 0 (ZERO) intention of recalibrating again. Mostly bcuz while everyone will say 2k is trash, there's a lot of fun competitive games. When it's 1k or below it's like you're not even playing Dota.
I have fun regardless, and I feel exponentially more in control of my own mmr and level of play. Also I've definitely matured in my moba development but there is a low point, around 0k to 1600k, where you can't really get better at Dota playing with and against that level of play.
*Note, I frequently played with teammates who had between 0 and 45 mmr

Seriously I came back to this shit account 750 mmr and I lose, on my new account I still lose, I win fine when I'm not playing ranked
