Seen quite a lot of people argue over mek on viper , instead some people go straight super tanky.

feeding to create space.. I always get reported lol. Rapier only for gyro seems to be the same when ur team is losing.

you can go bkb/lifesteal/deso/skadi/butter/manta/sy/daedalus/mkb/blink/sb/eblade. pretty much any other item is situational
People blame me and my friends every time when we buy Blink (they even start intentional abusing/feeding/throwing just because of that)
These are the same ppl who think the one with the stronger right click wins the game
Same thing with nature's prophet as sf, u get lots of farm, but u're never sure what to buy
Solar on PA and octarine on bb occur to me as well
Dagon builds I guess. Only core on a few heroes. Battle fury builds like bh bf. Midas sometimes. Radiance on anyone other than spectre and maybe brew, doom, bs, wk in a very few games. Skipping bkb. This ursa threw a game for us by going mkb after blink and basher and couldn't finish bkb. Still got gibbed every fight even with new ult.
...and the definition of a contraversial item... rapier (still cant help fretting over that game i lost with a 680 gpm nature's prophet because our retarded supp didnt bother with planting the wards i bought so i took a full sven combo to the face after buying rapier as the team's only non-feeder coz i didnt have vision of him)
Do you guys really think rushing Battlefury on an Ember Spirit is good? Used to do that to him like he's some sort of ching-chong Anti-Mage, but later realized that getting drums after phase seems better. Xin have great early/mid-game prowess, but is designed to be squishy as well. But Battlefury after that? Why not Desolator or even at least a Crystalys before Battlefury. Ember has rather low atk power w/o items, but flame guard is a good farming skill.

Your against a team that Quas/Wex is the obvious choice and yet you get stuck with some exort spamming tard who wants to win a right click battle pew pew pew.
Or you have a team perfect for sunstrikes but your invoker is blind or in this case specs Quas/Wex.
Oh and the worst part about most invokers they give away all runes because who cares they don't need them........(they don't seem to realize that's how the other mid is laning against them and making them bottle crow is winning for overall game)
