1) Storm, Jug, snipa was always in asian scene since TI3. European meta never liked them and prefer flashy rubrick, shadow demon plays. A common example is how it centuar was brought back again. He was never really gone!
2) For every 4-5 good jug and snipa player, there's bound to be that "yo guys I'mma stack damage snipa!" guy. Loses like 10 snipa games in a row. Remember that invoker with phase boots 30 minutes into game? Well hi there's a storm player now too!
3) Asianz always smoke 420/7 everytime they're behind, ahead, midgame, lategame. who cares.
4) Michael players? You haven't seen quas wex invoker with euls beating up the whole team 40 minutes in? or a Meepo double the levels 30 minutes in game huh? Good michael players almost as "free win" as good slark, troll, drow, snipa players in AP.
5) Lost 300MMR, pfft try losing 600 or 1000 then never get back up.

first of all, this is just a way for me to still get involved in Dota2 after forcing myself outside home to avoid playing it because I have urgent work tasks that need to get done.
so if u dont give a fck,, then dont proceed :D
Black Valentines (Friday, Saturday)
- I frigging lost almost 300 MMR points!!
- I am a Spectre player and I felt a change in pub meta after DAC
- Juggernaut players became better
- There's a lot of Storm wanna-be pickers
- More active game - clashes and ganks left and right
- MMR went down from 4.65 to 4.35k
- take note: during DAC, I was able to hold my MMR between 4.5 to 4.6k
Resurrect Sunday
- Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result
- I started playing support, because I know I'm good at it - the overall game thought process is easy for me.
- planning for smokes, preparing for ganks, tp saves, what the enemy will do, what we have to do, etc.. these are stuff i understand to some extent brought about by watching a lot of pro games and the experience in playing pubs
- i dont feel that much of a challenge when trying to beat opponents from a macro perspective... maybe i'll feel this once i reach 5k
- in 4.5k, i at least have confidence that my carry hero once have items, knows how to kill.. what they usually fail at is decision making and map awareness - both of which i can provide by VOICE guiding everyone throughout the game
- in one night, I was able to regain 150 MMR points.
I then rested and resumed doing the work that I was being paid for
