lategame? you mean early game. cuz this combo is falling off as first BKBs start showing up not to mention shit like linken spheres, or - OH MY LORD - a Pipe of Insight.
BKB is one thing but the carrier of hood of defiance/full pipe of insight gets sweet 50%~~ish base magic resistance and active that mitigates magic dmg in teamfights on his entire team. definitely viable pickup on a Timbersaw and other tanky offlaners like Centaur etc.

Here's what happened: Late game we lost because Nature Prophet went a cheapass combo (Etheral+Dagon) and he wiped our team off the planet so much. It's so infuriating when this happens. What items should've I gotten instead?
