I have actually played a lot of lol in the Last year until maybe 3 Months ago, cuz my Friends suck at dota. In general the game removes everything that is "mean". Spells have most of the time low range, if not u can see the where it will land. Regardless of farm or kills the network difference is most of the games less then 5k and every hero "delivers" in early and late game. U can ward the whole map and the initiation range is much lower. So u can farm without fear of death. I played a lot of xerath who is in my dota knowledge broken, because he has long range and high damage and can farm really fast. And I find it super hard to die on this hero, although he has no escape spell. The only thing that kills u is basically backstab which u can prevent with one ward behind u every time u start a fight. So it's basicly a no risk high reward hero. On the other side many spells are similar like "spinning u slow enemies for 0.5 sek and u get armor +damage" or " u kick someone if he hits a wall he gets stunned.
The game is still fun, but I think it's not attractive to play this game on high level, it's totally imbalanced and there are not enough mechanics.
