I can't see what new flame wars could it cause. It would be only useful to prove your MMR to somebody. Although, you can already use dota2toplist.com for that purpose.
Yeah could use dota2toplist, but I personally find it better to have all my info consolidated at the same place, so hopefully dotabuff could add the option to expose it. And since dota2toplist provides that feature, I don't see why dotabuff wouldn't.
