yeah, it's pretty much the best item you can get. +60ish damage for 2,5k.

^not to mention survivability, armor,toggle jukes and a baddass glow to your hand

Fuck the rest, get it for the glow alone!

Why people say that desolator is so good for Tusk? I know all it's goods but I don't understand why it would be so effective for him, since he's an initiator rather than a fighter he wouldn't use all the potential of the item, right?

Deso makes his crit hit harder, so its nice to have to burst someone down quickly

Same reason it's good on bounty, burst potential with that ult, plus deso debuff is applied before the ult hits I believe. Deso is the most cost efficient dmg item I think other than maybe a rapier.

but actually tusk can deal massive dmg with armlet, (cheap costs, good stats and dmg)
