Honestly, it's stupid. They should just be removed completely from all MM's except custom lobbies. They also need to change it so 1 report on any player in a stack equals a report for all players in the stack, this will very quickly make people stop playing with those one or two asshole players, or at least put them where they all belong, low prio.
Most 4 stack games I've played, I usually win, and actually the reason why Valve disabled them in ranked is so people won't get bullied by 4 stacks.

So I've kept track of how many times I've been grouped with a 4 stack in nmm. Ive hit 20 4 stack matches that I've been keeping track of and 16 of them have been losses, 1 where match didn't count, and 3 victories.
I've come to the conclusion that Valves matchmaking, when it comes to 4 stacks, is fucking horrible.
