Against all forms of logic and skill i choose to try this retard build. Brood is situational and if people don't get that they are simply retarded. Not skilling the spiders is completely braindead, since even if you have AOE counters you can easily farm jungle and lane, which helps broods farm a lot. @BatEgato Slaradar and Bounty Hunter both require a fast manta style to counter. If they are actually in your lane against you they are easy to kill. Its when they are playing offlane then come in at level 6 to try and get you is the problem. But Manta will remove both of their ults. Also since the cliff walking thing was removed and broods speed was buffed they are not that big a deal anymore. They better brings friends cuz you can solo kill either one of them. Space = created.
I don't use to go Manta in this situation. Broodmama is a hero to chasing, not to be chased, which means, more core items like Rad, Necro, Orchid will be late if you buy Manta.
Might be viable as second item if you have it quickly.
Despite not having a huge impact (cuz your team did decent at carrying the game) you had neat farm and could have done a lot more if needed.

u can imagine it, what this monster can do with that status, he can kill and move so fast , with PMS he can tank tirlane 20 damage * 3 = 60 damage every hit , with his chase duration around 8 second killing time , he can tank 60*8 second hit = 480 damage with PMS (not include +3 armor from basilus and miss chance 50%) and he can lifeleach 60% lifesteal with buff 60 damage
lifeleach 60% damage in early game when every hero only have very low armor is a massive life boost for bm

Tried this twice in 2.8k ranked, won both. 1st game was very easy, won 1v2 while the rest were feeding to weaver but with rq for their side we managed to win. 2nd game made a lot of mistakes at juking, but managed to not feed after securing 1st tower. Enemy crying rat at me (what else is brood supposed to do? Feed?) and enemy void rqed after I solo killed him. Game has gone so much better ever since I stopped concentrating on getting spiderlings early game and just farm like a riki. Thanks Bogi.
