Not sure if the dotabuff team could do it, but it might be interesting. On the other end, it would be interesting to see damage taken. It would help with some of the above things. For example, I ratio of damage taken/death would provide an interesting view on utility, especially good for tanky initiators that are supposed to absorb lots of damage.
I think it would be too much work for them. But I guess we will see, the job they are doing with the International 4 is excellent. Keep it up boyzzzz
Thanks for the suggestion. While it's possible it does sound like a lot of work. We're more likely to focus our next few months of development time on doing more with the truesights stats we have (rather than looking to add more). Right now Truesight is only match specific. There is a lot of room to do interesting aggregates with all of that data first!
Thanks for the quick response. I completely agree with you that it is probably best to get the most out of the current information before adding new things.
It would be interesting if you can aggregate some of the truesight match specific data into, creating some kind of individual/team profile of characteristics.

thank you for all your hard work to ensure that we get excellent statistics - we really appreciate it.
In regards, to the TS stats - is there an easy way to split the hero damage e.g. total physical vs total magical, or even split the total hero damage by abilities vs right click? I believe that looking more into the damage done statistic will prove interesting and useful. It will certainly help with builds and greater understanding of the heroes(e.g. if Veil of Discord is worth it, if BKB/pipe is necessary vs certain heroes/teams, if armor is more effective as protection against other heroes/teams etc.)
I know that the platform is in BETA, so I thought that you need all the questions and feedback you can get as you develop the match analysis platform further.
Other DB users, please feel free to comment on whether you think it's a good proposition or not.
