I branch out with other characters during bot practice only lately and have a few in the can I'm about to break out in pub matches. After I feel I've perfected a few, then its back to unfair bot matches and practice, then I spam them a while in pub ranked matches. I used to not do bot matches to practice but now I do and is really key I think so others don't feel the pain of my character learning curve.
I have probably 10 characters I would say I feel comfortable playing in pub matches tops. C'mon Rambosalad you cant say you'd rather win or have the highest chance of winning by picking your best character??? I can't believe you'd rather pick.... IDK KOTL for instance when theres 4 other support characters on the team just because you don't want to play a carry from the game before. That is just insane.

Sam too hard will be when you'll face me as your opponent no-lifer and i'll be playing Pudge. Just be patient and remember only one thing: I'll make Pudge the strongest hero in Dota 2 (only if you are good at landing hooks of course) and when this day comes then i'll sit back and enjoy watching all of you as you'll be leaving the game idiota. Only the ones who share my passion for this hero will stay, the rest of you will be lost and forgotten forever. There is a reason this char is number 1 in popularity. I will make you suffer and pay for your arrogance and ignorance and when this is all over Pudge will be restored to his previous status and grace and everyone will acknowledge him in competitive play as well.

When a hero is always challenging, can always be improved, and you do well them (tinker for me), that's when I can just play as many games as I want with them and it never gets boring
