Interesting. Fine if you don't get targeted too much early on. You are swapping the +20 HotD damage for +24 from phase, so damage output is about equal. You lose the attack speed from treads, but you have active +100 from MoM. Luna is squishyyyy though not sure i'd want to use MoM except for when flash farming.
Lots of move speed though. Phase + MoM is maximum movespeed so I guess you can run away a lot :P

Mom luna is the best way. and the fastest way.
You just need a brain to use it at the right moment :)
If someone's stacking for you and you have an early-game line-up MoM could be picked up, I guess.
She can farm really fast with it, and there is no need for an early Yasha for fast-farming, hence you can get BkB a bit earlier.
I personally wouldn't go MoM build, but I guess there is something in it. The WR is 73%

It was something that was done in a single game by SingSing a long time ago where he went "no-beam" till like level 12 or something and just maxed glaives and aura and went MoM-Appshit autoattacking people.
Its one of those things that is situationally good and otherwise is just trolling and can backfire horribly.
MoM can't work on a hero with 330 attack range, and if it does this means that your supports already won this game for you. Basically you can buy any item at this point, you got carried.

While the MoM is certainly very interesting, I find the phase boots to be almost even more interesting.
I assume he is going Phase because he needs the damage boost that he would be getting from HoD, but it makes luna even more squishy. Not to mention Luna is already the fastest hero in the game and will be speed boosted from the MoM.
I suppose its to get in maximum damage with eclipse and activated MoM due to the short attack range on Luna.
Singsing did this build, he got like a INSANE gpm.
Fuck lucent beam and eclipse, only glaives and aura and MoM to farm.
Phase is viable, but you need to compensate for the hp loss from the treads
phase + drums works, with phase activated, luna can reach ~460 ms
and having a good gpm rate on Luna is pretty common

people keep bringing up sing's no lucent build, but the player i linked always goes for a normal lucent build, just saying.
