Theoretically not buying the hats will lower valve's revenue, forcing them to lay off developers to cut costs, thus reducing the odds of improved matchmaking ever being implemented. So you should actually buy more hats, so they can hire more developers, to get more work done on matchmaking. Sound logic no?

matchmaking for solo players is hell really, valve needs to improve that shhit

there really isnt anything valve can do about solo que. I will use Atum as a example
