What is a tank? Could you describe that role in depth for me?

Its a hero that is able to take a lot of damage thanks to his armor/hp/abilities.

why u have to act like u dont understand what he means just so u can tell him that this role doesnt exist in dota ?

Your top heroes do NOT include a single support with your Riki sitting at 12 games, that means any support you do play will be at below 11 games.

Your top heroes do NOT really include a damage tanker with some of the heroes being tanky but not quite like others like Cent, Axe etc.

Your winrate is at 46% which to me isn't really a big deal if you didn't have such a low number of games. With that number, I would expect you to at least be keeping up with an eager 50/50.

Any team that will take you will basically be a team that you and them will stagnate in an average queue, with average players without actually getting any better. I would look to improving your game and moving away from game reliant roles like a carry, also AM isn't really a hero that I would suggest you taking any further.

This is simply from a neutral observation and if you are serious about playing a little bit more in a team then I would look to improving your game on a personal level to make yourself more appealing to people who want to find a support they can trust their teams carry with.

TL;DR If I needed a support I would look to your supporting record which is basically non-existent. Start playing supports and semi's, carrying doesn't seem to be your thing.

P.S. I can't carry either its not something you have to feel bad about, some people can some people can't.

You have no data to show you play a convincing support. I would work on that and retry after some serious support grinding.

I disagree strongly. Of course there is a tank in dota and in any combat game. I am not saying its necessary to have one but there is such a role (its named "durable" or "initiator" in dota) why would you think it doesn't exist? Tank is simply someone taking the damage / drawing away attention from other players (can also be an initiator). There is a reason why there are 3 branches of heroes STR, Agility and Intelligence

i thought there were strength, agility and intelligence heroes because blizzard thought that would be a good idea for wc3

There are millions of dota players of a similar skill level to Nick_0123...and they can have teams too.

If you want to find a team check out the list of 29k teams here on dotabuff. There were lot more but it looks like Jason just cleaned up the list to remove unranked teams and old ones. At the lower end of the list you will find tons of teams where players have winrates of 45-48% who will not care that you are at 46%.

Try adding some of these people from your region. They were interested in playing on a team at one point...they might be interested in joining another team. Often a team will put a flag up that shows the country of most of their players, you may even be able to find people near you this way...at least who use the same server.

This team had players with 49% 48% 43% 35% 49% winrates...but as a team they went 4-3 win-loss. Teamwork wins games. Join a team no matter how nub or bad you might be.

You can only tank rosh or creeps because they are dumb,
There is no tank in dota, only durable heroes.
