Not really. All other games I played were quite balanced. This kind of stuff rarely happens to me tbh. But still there is no reason for it to happen at all.

Nah don't lose your shit. You are a good player and I have in the past watched a couple of your games. I think you were just unlucky with the MM queuing you with not so greats due to your level and skill cap.
E.G. I solo queue I get high/very high queue with retards due to the way the MM stacks me with people based on my ELO rating. I stack, then I play with all the rejects and go into normal or high queue. Its.....just how it goes.
Only point of that Midas was trying to get enough farm to win 2v5. Check all my other weaver games. None of them has Midas.

I had a quick look drow and sniper are his 2 most successful heroes... Says a lot about what kind of player he is really.
Sam and the dire 4 man stack are very good, why are there 20/30 hour game time smurfs there. Yes their skill level is high and at the top end it's hard to find enough high level players to balance the game, but those smurfs aren't the answer.
It just ruins games.
Anti-smurf detection often makes 1-3 smurfs at most in a game lose, while at the same time ruin and waste time for the rest of the 7-9 players. I'm sure the dire stack didn't give a crap about getting a free win from shit smurfs to boost their stats/MMR, it's just a waste of time for them.
MM needs to be fixed, the current system wastes a lot of players time.
It's not that Sniper couldn't last hit. I don't even think that he is a smurf. He is just a noob who chose the "pro" tab at the beginning. That's how he got there. Riki didn't buy any items at the beginning while Sniper had tangoes salve and TP.

This is without a doubt the biggest failure of matching I have seen yet.
Kafki is pretty good...on a 4100 team...2.3k games but he doesn't play dazzle...only 0.3% of games are dazzle.
And the other team is people who are on teams ranging from 4.2k to 5k...true expert dota players, in fact some of them were on teams in the Eizo Cup tournament this week.
Facing off against them we find 3 truly nub dota players. People who have never played the game.
Riki can't figure out how to get his items, walks all the way top, then mid, then back to base...after 1:30 he finally gets them from the stash and walks out to start feeding 4.5K rated Zues mid. It's kind of embarrassing that there were not more kills, but how could Zues have expected that riki was really that bad? He didn't know to take advantage.
Sniper usually does not see where his hero is. Forget map awareness. He dies and keeps clicking to walk to the lane for 3 more seconds before realizing he is dead...also can't find his items more than once and uses salve while taking dmg, uses two mouse clicks to use the salve (the absolute slowest way to do it).
NP seems to have some idea of how to play his hero, but when he summons his trees he tends to lose track of the hero and can't find it. He gets the score stuck open and can't figure out how to close it for 30 seconds.
These players should be in bot games...I can only imagine they selected "expert" on accident when setting up the account and somehow that was enough to put them in this game. They must have skipped the tutorials also...completing the tutorial would put them at a higher level of play than displayed here. I guess they must have qued together for their first game of dota 2...this is a sad way to start your dota experience...but maybe they didn't know how bad it really was.

Well honestly they did threaten me in pm's the first time I posted a suggestion on how to fix matching and immediately locked and closed my thread. But I was more careful in how I wrote this one and it's still open.
If no one adds a negative, angry post I hope it will stay open long enough that someone who is thinking clearly will read it.
I don't think it is in Valves interest to have bad matching. I think they truly do not understand how bad it is because they are brushing off the reports of problems as a few whinny jerks who want to pub stomp....most of the posts I have seen about it do give that impression.
Also more chests drop in longer games so that is not a factor.

Even if that did somehow lower Valve revenue...Very High games are a tiny fraction of total games. Really that is why it doesn't seem so important to them...they are thinking "well its only a few experts who occasionally get a bad game....they will keep playing anyway, no need to fix it now".
But, if we can get them to realize they are hurting new players (the massive potential cash cow) then they will fix it. That is why people need to point out that the poor nubs stuck in the Very High games are getting pounded on...won't like dota...might stop playing!!!

I'm considering taking a break from solo queuing for a while... Since when the game got released I always have a really bad player in my team. Some times we can carry him, sometimes we cannot :| How can I play support when one team mate is useless by default?

this is entirely their fault and they won't fix it because they are that stubborn. sure, it disables smurfing but it brings in more retards to real games in bigger numbers
I think hontrashplayereu is correct. That patch made matching considerably worse.
As for the chaos of Normal/High...well for Normal the solution really is: get better so you are not in Normal.
High bracket matching will be improved by letting Very High players have their matches separately. This will cause a chain-reaction as extremely large differences in skill in a High matches are because a Very High player was brought down and a Normal player had to be brought up to match the averages of the teams. The Very High players getting out of High also removes the lowest Normal players from High and stabilizes the matching around a smaller range of skill.

The games before and after that game were both 1st page games. How can you even drop to bronze bracket after someone abandons the game and suddenly get back high after you lose that game?
