It all depends on who can really, really benefit from a free mango in the first couple minutes of the game.
Yea I find if Zeus is in the bonus pool I pick him, that mango can come in handy when a rune gets stolen and you got no mana.
Only bad when you're playing ranked and you pick a hero you don't know how to play, like a SD going for a 30 minute mek.
With that, I can start off with a wand as support, 7.09.
Very little boost so I only go for heroes I'm good at or OP this patch.
Bonus hero was to encourage picks outside of meta and now people complain that bonus picks sucks. Lmao
i'm more likely to pick doom and pangolier when they're bonus heroes. for other heroes i dont care

I think some people look at it too critically and try to force hero picks for the mango
