Is it just me or does Quantum of Solace say "tinker" every single post?
And I'm not qualified to say who's the best mid but viper can be very strong, especially if you want to shut down the opponent's mid.

Alch is still strong even with his "nerfs".
^gets a taste of his own medicine with march tinker. I could imagine being denied last hits via laser is pretty frustrating too.
Puck can trash most mids since the last patch
Voker has a tough laning phase, but you cant really expect him to lane anywhere else decently. He's still OP beyond laning phase.
DK is quite strong too. Hard to bully out of the lane plus can take your towers if you even think of going out of your lane.

And everyone else is pretty much on par. Tinker is the best mid though, easily.

top 5 melee : alche, dk, slark, kunkka, ember
