with just 500 average mmr difference between the two teams, the games are insanely unbalanced; and if you make it like 1500-2000, it will be an epic shitfest.

Lets get together a 5k+ average team and face those 1-2k's and upload it to youtube for all the scrubs in the world to see what happens when you face people that actually know something about Dota.

It's funny because you'll get rekt. The only way for me to play in VHS games is if i coordinate very well and I only play a hero i'm really good at. Riki for example works for me. But to lane against them is frustrating. Don't even try unless you want to try to learn from it. A lot of being in very high skill has to do with reaction times, knowledge of literally every thing in the game and decision making. 1.5k's struggle with basic mechanics...

EU > US anyways 6k na is basically 4k eu. so ur 1.5k NA is not even 500 EU.

5K average team takes out most players keepo. I am willing to have this with a random team of 5 any day.

For the high skill team we are so far: sano, Tabaluga, (Benao) and me. If Havoc wanna join as support it would be great, since sano/tabaluga play mid/safe and i can go safe/offlane, then we need 1 more guy on support and we're full.

btw in not "stuck" in 1.5k, I was calibrated there and I only played a few ranked games. I'm actually clibming. My party mmr is like 500 higher.

OP - just get your team of 1-2k's together and we'll get team of 4-5k's and lets play on weekend.

Yeah similar thing was done through reddit, a couple of times I think. Surprise surprise the 5k team always beats the 1-2k team regardless of if the 1-2 are a bunch of randoms or if they are a dedicated 5 stack. Heck I can pretty much carry a team of 1.5ks to victory on my smurf accounts against other 1.5ks with even a little bit of tryharding, even when I do stuff like my aether lens/octarine core/rod of atos bloodseeker build - http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/2096232539 - and I'm only 3.5k.

U can't even win half of your 1k games lol what makes you think you last longer than 5 minutes against 5ks? XD

I'll play! I'm a 1.7k who's finally getting out of the trench (I was 1.2k 4 months ago). Slowly.

@TripleSteal- getting hardcore rekt and losing a game in 5-10 minutes is not so fun at all (in my opinion)

it gives you a lot of useful material for self-improvement, and kinda helps in psychological terms. facing way better opponents prevents you from being very self-confident, beliving u deserve higher rating and "teammates hold u back", etc.
