imo it depends on your objective and playstyle

for pure farming battlefury is far superior - the ability to clear stacks much faster given the same amount of space lets your farm rocket up much faster (i peaked at over 1.7k GPM once http://yasp.co/matches/1447613941)

with radiance you control the map better and can farm more aggressively thanks to the follow-up manta but your farming ability is diminished

Do you have to go manta after radiance?

if you don't honestly i think that there's little point going for it

radiance is pretty useless if you don't have some other way to leverage on the immolation

nope, but the idea of radiance manta is to follow up with octarine afterwards so you sort of play it like naga siren

for example ehome.kaka is doing pretty well with it at 7k

none of the changes are relevant imo

anyway octarine is nice on rad/manta alch because it lets you have more uptime on illusions + have basically full uptime on ulti, as well as nice bulk

how is MoM as a first item (After treads/phase) on alch purely for jungle farming? (u can use it in the down time between ulti-usage)

ok after watching one of kaka's replays i am certain that i suck harder than i thought
is it possible to doublestack radiant jungle camps with alch? the mid camp will walk through that treepath if u use acid spray on the, right?

it is theoretically possible if i'm not mistaken but the margin is extremely small and you might need to chop one or two trees first

radi manta is legit but i dont think octarine is worth it? yea u have more uptime on ult and illus but its not like naga, shes different she has rip tide so can clear waves way faster with illus
and btw u acid spray on the big camp and pull the medium. its easier and u dont have to cut trees

^that sounds more logical, i got a mental barrier or some shit lol

but if u cut the trees to the left i think u can get a triple stack on it, its nearly impossible to get 3x as a melee hero without cutting them because if a ranged creep stops to hit u once u fail the stack
on dire its easier to get 3x on medium

also 1 thing i dislike about manta is that when u use it even if u have max bonus gold stacks (36) the illusions will always start from 12

Also, octarine would give some nice 12 HP/ hero regen with the radiance damage. It would increase the uptime of his ulti as well. HMM.
I suppose if you're looking at octarine to replace heart, mehhhhh, idk. It's like 600 hp less and 40 damage.

Isn't the best way of building Alch going for Treads + Armlet into blink or SB into solar crest, into whatever?

Quick follow up: Vanguard is great on heroes with low armor, so why not build for Alch early game and invest in armor later? Is also increases your buffer HP.

alch is easier to get farmed on in a pub, naga u need ur team to protect u make space etc.

also u definitely never get armlet or heart. blink is decent, sb id only get if i need silver edge, solar crest u get as first item if u have a carry like am in ur team and u start building utility (heres when vanguard might be good, if u get crimson), not radiance cause then u take too much farm from am. i dont like treads if u get radiance, u just get bots, if not treads are fine.

im sure radi manta is just as good if the game allows it, octarine not worthj it honestly

if enemy has no real hardcore pressure radiance manta is really sick. i just tried it and u have to do nothing to win lol
with octarine radiance u heal so much if they focus u. the blademail makes a lot of sense which ive seen in kaka's build

i think its better to pick up battle fury, s&y, blink, tarras, basher, and also cuirass or mjollnir if necessary
