4 - you can play anything you are comfortable with, you just need to master it since you will probably pick it in the 1st pick phase so you don't need to be versatile as a pos1/2 pick is
3 - sk is annoying, wr has a strong lane and a strong mid/late
5 - as a pos1 main player i can say that it depends on the carry player what's his fav playstyle or what hero is he going to pick, usually you will lane with him so you need to pick something that could compensate his weaknesses, if it's a strong laner that lacks disables, like jugger or ursa you can pick a disabler like shaman or rubick, you get the point

Just ask your team, what would they like to have as pos 5 by suggesting (highlighting heroes by holding alt + click)

I think in solo ranked Shadow Shaman is always a good pick, no matter what. If your team goes full retard you can still split push and solo take objectives, even T3 or racks.

For offlane it depends on the draft really. If the enemy picks a BKB reliant hero like Phantom Assassin just pick Beastmaster. Stil T1 offlaner. There is not much teamplay in our bracket (mid Archon - mid Legend), so if a PA jumps in with bkb you just ult her and you reset positioning, the enemy will not really go and save her. Especially when bkb timer goes down you can just burst her afterwards.

If the you need either gap close or disengage Centaur is still super strong, especially if enemy has a right click heavy lineup.

CM warlock and dazzle as pos 5. I think dazzle is the most fun to play of the 3 of them, i just hate the fact how slow cm is, she feels like the slowest hero in the game and warlock can struggle in the early/mid game cause of his big teamfight oriented kit.

If you're going to play as position 4/5 just pick abbadon, but depends on the line up. Max out the first and the second skill. The first skill provides a very good heal/nuke at early level, the aphotic shield is very good to save your carry, since it is a strong dispel which mean you can save your carry when the enemy root/stun. Buy tranquil+soul ring for abbadon to spam the 1st and the 2nd.

Pos 3 ench is still a thing, just make sure you ban wr

in our bracket lion absolutely destroys. people are constantly out of position and with a little communication with your team, gettng picks are very easy.
