also, sky is a single target nuker, not an aoe one. so he isnt as good at team fighting as he is in ganking / solo kills.

Sky is a support hero not a mid. It can be mid if you have big tower hitter like Terrorblade or so in your draft. Then you can make space for TB and later close the game out.

Thats the issue with those odd mid heroes like Sky, puck, rubick - they completely destroy mid and generally all your team, but once the game goes late and you have heroes who can jump them and have bkbs, they are completely useless.
