1.5k scrub here, but man I am damn sure you max your wards first. Spam them just outside the enemies tower range, so your wall of wards will completely hold and kill the enemy creep wave, therefore your own will always go hit the tower. With Venom mid you really should bring down the T1 mid very fast.

Cuz one Gale = mid dies
2 levels in poison sting and then max wards but only after max Gale, he skipped ulti at lvl 6 too I think.
