I like the sword more, I want it :(
Awesome looking mouse
My gaming mouse died, and now I ma playing with crappy cheap mouse. Really miss the side buttons
I am due an upgrade as I went MX510 > MX518 > MX518 > G400s?
I am looking to probably keep with the franchise and comfort of the logitech MX design but might grab something new.
I'm so used to having a minimum of 6 thumb buttons on my mouse for items that I really cant use anything else but a Naga or Logitech.
Mostly, I just dislike alt+ for important commands. If is fine with me, but I find it annoying shifting my thumb under my hand in most games to alt+click
@Wave how different is it cause I have been using the MX series since 2006 dunno if i can move away....my first was the glossy blue one back when LED's and glitter cases were cool and I grew out of it and swapped it for a dull grey.
.....oh god no, I just googled that thing and I know a friend that has it. It has the most horrible middle mouse wheel of any mouse ever. I contemplated getting the Logitech G7, which is a super well reviewed mouse, but it has one side button and it is wireless and I dislike wireless stuff.
LOOK HOW BIG THAT WHEEL IS....also quite heavy even without the weights.
It's super bad to play at that angle and loads of peeps complained about duration gaming on the g500 cause it was an ergonomical wreck as far as mice go...compare it to the contours and curves on this bad boy
I have a razr naga (got it for wow) and I got a steel series really cheap one thrown in with a bundle with my keyboard, I think it was a kinzu? The naga has nice features but ergonomically is just feels bad. The steel series was a perfect fit even if the cheap one I had had awful dpi and only two buttons. Then my 2 year old threw it on the floor when mommy was letting her skype on my pc and now it's broke. I will probably look at getting this mouse when it's out.
doesn't the naga have 3 different side panels to chose from?
I stick with the default anyway.
MX518 has a feel of its own, its own entity basically but the g400s is so damn nice too (almost feels the same as mx518 when i use it). i have the g500 atm and my next mouse will be g400s because g500 got inbuilt mouse acceleration which irritates me (cant disable it)
i still have my 5th mx518 in package but i'm saving it because its so well made and i love it
This mouse is alright. I'm not really a fan. Too plain for me. I have been hyping myself up for this.
Oh God, more roccat garbage :( the only thing of theirs I would ever buy are mouse pads.....and I think they had like one ok keyboard.
Aggressive designs aren't garbage, just something new
Besides, your mouse literally has nothing to it. Just like 2 buttons ez, browse your interweb with all new 2 button mouse.

This one is aggressive enough -.-
Mice should be build for comfort as most micro intensive gaming should be better done on the keyboard where your palms are flat and not frantically clicking buttons on a mouse where your wrist sits disjointed.
I have very very big disagreements on this because people don't understand the impact that a good ergonomic mouse, keyboard, and posture can have to you if you're a gamer. Get any of those wrong and you can be looking at severe discomfort over time due to mice companies going for flair over safety.
A lot of people who settle for cheap stuff end up with harsh problems that can prevent some from even continuing the hobby of gaming. I think I spent as much on my chair as I did on the computer itself.
I use my Naga Hex. Six side buttons means I don't have to worry about hitting the wrong one - they're all a pretty good size and easy to hit naturally. And with the keyboard space that frees up, I get to stick to my trashcan WASD camera movement!
I do like the roccat lots of buttons. i have never heard of that company b4 so idk if i'd use it
@ Havoc
Honestly, Dota isn't really "micro intensive" even when it comes to heroes like chen. You do have a point about a stable wrist.... which is why i like the naga. all the buttons in one place with the thumb maean the wrist is stable and rested while pressing them.
"Mice should be build for comfort as most micro intensive gaming should be better done on the keyboard where your palms are flat and not frantically clicking buttons on a mouse where your wrist sits disjointed."
Opinions and personal inept abilities. Don't influence people with that trash.
I would recommend that no one chooses a mouse because of what company it represents. Find one that fits your play style. I use my naga razer for Broodwar and Dota 2. I have pretty decent finger dexterity and use these for an ample amount of map control and different binds.
I've been using the R.A.T 5, pretty happy with it, it even extends and has removable weights for different preferences.
Man this mouses all look like mini space ships
The day i spend 100+ dollars in a mouse shoot me
rat 5 looks like such a shit mouse i have never been willing to spend the money on it.
Who knows!
I also got R.A.T 5. Its old like 5 years now and it was mainly cause of CS. Thing is it really isnt worth to spend it for dota. In CS you need to have sharp and most important, stabile mouse movement, that you have control with. But in dota, I feel no difference playing with laptop mouse or R.A.T, only thing it feels better in hand, ofcourse.
Pretty much what this kid plz no flamerino said.
@ Wink, it's a FPS mouse, not a MOBA mouse, hence why it's weighted. In FPS they use weighted mice so that it is heavier on one side. When you drag right it is really hard to drag, creating slower ADS (aim down sights) // hard aim. When you drag right, since your sensitivity is really high and its easier to drag since the weights aren't slowing you, it goes really fast.
This created the tem "360 no scope" because you would commonly see players spin full 360's to get sights back on target.
In other words, YOU BOUGHT THE WRONG MOUSE FOR THE WRONG GAME WINK.
All i have is this wireless mouse plugged into my laptop, hate it when i have to switch my battery during a game
